Crank but will not start- Help!!

Crank but will not start- Help!!
I got a LS400 98, The car will crank but will not start, I'm thinking fuel pump, filter. Not sure if the filter is connected to the pump assembly or not and not sure if its the injectors. Has anyone else had this issue and how did you solve it?

Check fuses first. It's the most simple thing to start with. Any codes (check engine light on)? It's difficult to diagnose no start issues over the internet. Do you have accesses to a fuel pressure guage? Can you verify spark? We need more information. Why do you suspect fuel pump?
