Default 99 LS interior trunk release

Couldn't find anything specific in search, but I can't open the trunk using the internal release lever anymore. Never had a problem with that in the past 18 years! No problem using the remote, or the key. Don't hear any sound like a relay when pulling the lever. Broken hinge wires are pretty rare after '96, I think. Anyone have issues like this?

Stupid question: Did someone accidentally push in the center lock button?

+1 for the lock button.
If not so, the switch itself or the MPX body computer may not be working right.

+2, was about to ask the same thing.
to lock/disable the trunk release, one only has to push it in the key cylinder.
