New owner & first time for a Lexus
Hi,
I just bought my first Lexus, a 98 LS400. 210,000 miles. It is in very very good condition. Came from a friend who took very good care of it. Needed the steering up and down fixed. I did that by putting a washer behind the blue gear. Changed engine oil, filter and tranny filter and fluid. Needs tires and exhaust. Converters and mufflers are good it's the pipe between the converters and middle muffler that need attention. Timing belt was replaced at 190,000. The other day the tach did not work but only for a few minutes. I love the ride and the pick-up. It's been a long time that I've had a V8 to drive. Gets much better gas millage than my 97 Blazer. Looks like this forum will be great for when I have issues later. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Peace!

Sweet! You are now a member of the best forum on the web. Congrats! Timing belt being done is a definite plus and tires for the LS400 are ultra-reasonable.
