Has anyone found better cupholder options? Other than getting a tray.

Sucks holding my coffee mug all the way to work.

After searching all I found was get trays.

Cheapest option would be getting a mug with a smaller bottom that fits in there. I'm sure there's one out there.

An actual addition option would be a "basketball hoop" cupholder like the one you find in a Mercedes gwagon.

I recommend the AC vent cup holder. Very JDM, very sturdy, very convenient. You can buy it from Pro Shop Noble or Lucky Labo, both very reputable import stores.

Funny thing, this is the first thing I complained about when I bought my 93 back in '09. Driving the car home after paying for it I got about 1/4 mile and said "These cup holders suck". But, to this day, on my 2nd LS400, I haven't done anything about them. I just keep my cup between my right leg and center console.

I bought a larger cup holder on Amazon with the bottom fits the current useless cup holder. It can hold only one larger cup but is more useful.

cup holders are the right size, its just that we are consuming more

Insulated thermos's for coffee are a thing... that is far from consuming more. It needs to be thicker for the insulation to properly work.

FWIW a large drink from any major fast food that's 44 ounces or whatever the hell they sell fits in our cupholders. It's not a size problem - it's a thickness problem.

I bought smaller travel cup at wall Mart. Which is good because I was drinking too much coffee.
