Question B pillar trim removal on an ls400

my b pillar trim has recently broke due to my sister trying to slide into the car only for the b pillar to rip off its connectors so I'm planning to go to a junkyard to get some b pillar trim but the problem is that I don't know how to remove the trim carefully I know u need trim tools which I have and I looked at the connectors on my own car on trying to backtrack the connecters but no cigar so if any of u have ideas it will be greatly appreciated thanks

To remove the pillar trim, use a flat plastic trim removed tool and pry gently. There's no screws, it will pop off. It may take a little effort if it's never been removed before, but just work at it and you'll get it without breaking it

Oh. Well 1st gen are put together more tankishly so it could be different. But on my 97 the trim pieces all popped off with minimal force.

as someone who had there interior stripped for months this is the best way to do it, grabbing from the sides, push down then slowly start pulling from the bottom to the top, you will feel it give.
