Default 99 LS front end woes

Hey all, was getting ready to do some front end work and ran into some problems. Got moog outer tie rod ends then grabbed some strut bar bushings to replace the worn out ones up front. Get back to my mechanic buddy with parts. Says his shop cant press the bushings because of the metal sleeve around them, anyone know a work around?
Next problem we found was the inner tie rods are now bad and boots ripped. Finding these oem is looking to be harder because at chatham parkway lexus they said they cant sell them separate from the rack. Any and all suggestions greatly appreciated!

If your "mechanic buddy" doesn't have the correct tool adapter or a big enough press to change the bushings you should just bring the strut bar to a shop just to press them in/out.
I'm sure you've searched and saw this thread;

As for the inner tie rods, they are sold separate from the rack.

I forgot to add this into my last post also. That has got to be where this dealer parts guy just wants to sell you something more expensive. I usually don't agree with people saying the dealers rip ya off cuz they're just doing their job, but this is one with proof that some people do that.
