Default Improved Remote Key Battery CR1620 vs. CR1616 ?

1998-2000 LS400 specifies Remote Key Battery CR1616.

Panasonic CR1616 specifications:
16 mm diameter X 1.6 mm thick.
Nominal capacity is 55 mAh.

Panasonic CR1620 specifications:
16 mm diameter X 2.0 mm thick
Nominal capacity is 75 mAh.

So extra capacity with the CR1620.

Anyone attempted installation of .4mm thicker CR1620?

Thanks.

Panasonic CR1616 and CR1620 drawings attached.

Crazy coincidence, I got a package from amazon yesterday that had a pack of CR1620 I didn't order in it and Amazon told me to keep it. Wasn't sure what I was going to do with them. My key fob battery could use a change, so I'll give this a try this weekend. I've actually done something similar with my infiniti fobs, replacing a cr2025 with cr2032 for the extra capacity.

If you could capture and post several close-up images of clearance(s) and fit...

Thank you.

Just did the swap, pretty much a perfect fit. Everything went back as it should.
