I've been flipping thru the posts on LSD's, OD's etc... I'm interested in fitting up a torsen unit and I think I may have read somewhere a Mk4 Supra Torsen 1 or Torsen 2 maybe be a straight swap option. Does anyone know if this is true ?... Are the stub axles the same ?... Has anybody actually done this conversion ?

Mk4 supra 200mm (small diff) torsen fits fine. In the 98-00 LS the entire pumpkin swaps in with the rear plate swapped (in '98-00 LS, earlier ones have different diff mounts/carrier assemblies so internals must be swapped).

Look for the same ratio (3.266:1) and you can avoid having to tear the diff apart and just swap pumpkins. In the US the mk4 Supra Turbo (Automatic) had the correct ratio/lsd/pinion size.

I've had one for years now. works great.
