Default Torsen unit for '98 LS400

I've been flipping thru the posts on LSD's, OD's etc... I'm interested in fitting up a torsen unit and I think I may have read somewhere a Mk4 Supra Torsen 1 or Torsen 2 maybe be a straight swap option. Does anyone know if this is true ?... Are the stub axles the same ?... Has anybody actually done this conversion ?

It has been done, but the gear ratios are different...
Now, how to sort out electronics so speedometer, odometer and VSC related systems: antilock brake, etc. work in harmony.

Thanks for replying..... I just looked up '98 LS diff ratio is 3.26... some models of the JZA80 Supra came with a 3.26 diff... I know that the LS has a 200mm crown wheel and so does the auto Supra... 6MT has 220mm so that's no good... I'll keep researching to find out if the Supra auto torsen center will fit the LS center.... It appears the outside mounts and size is the same.... here is a '98 LS400.. same as GS400 and some models of Supra.... The larger pic is Mk4 but don't know year... externally VERY similar... .. .. .. I'll keep looking......

Yes I understand... whatever diff I use will have to be 3.26.....It appears some Mk4 Supras had 3.25 Torsens..... just gotta find one so I can examine it more closely.
