Default Where did I go wrong -MPX body & ABS VSC module

Current MPX body 89221-50110 and ABS VSC control module 89541-50110 in car both work, recently bought these two part identical item from junk yard for spare but after install, vsc check engine light came on, disconnect battery, still same.
Took me out and put old parts back, now still those light won’t go off.

pretty sure no mechanical problem with car as before swapping no light on.

any input?

Maybe the multiplex module needs to be synced to the car?

The multiplex module does not need to be synced. Does the dome light and door locks work properly?
If so, I'd try to remove the battery's negative terminal for 10 minutes and connect it.

Jus to make sure I make it clear, I changed those junk yard parts (same part number as the existing one in car to test make sure seller did not sell me stud)

prior to the swab, the car runs normal with no warning light whatsoever on dash. Only thing did not work was the remote lock.

now adding to problem is the new vsc and check engine light remain on.

thats what I do not get is that even after I put the two original parts back into where I took them out, those lights still remain on.

Buy a cheap OBDII reader to your tool collection, ELM327 is less than $10 and get the Torque app on your phone. Can do lots for very little, only way you're going to know whats going on is to read the codes.
