Dear all,

May be this has been answered already somewhere but could not find it. So my apologies if I am repeating the questions.

I own my LS400 1997 for 24 years now (today its 24th birthday ) and obviously remote is no longer locking/unlocking beyond 10-15 feet. (All functions work just perfect in that range).

Need to change batteries. 3 questions:

1. Which battery?
2. How to replace (without breaking the remote) - I dont see any tiny screw, just a slit at the bottom. Not sure if I should put a screw driver in and twist.
3. Is it just worth buying a new remote and reprogram?

Appreciate any help.
