Default 1995 Celsior Key not coming out on the first try

Hello everyone. I just purchased a 1995 Toyota Celsior and i am having a weird issue! When I turn off the car the key get stuck and would not come out. If I turn it back on and off again the key comes right off with no issues. I make sure the car is in parking. I have 2 keys and both do the same thing! Any ideas 💡? Thanks

Did you try wiggling the steering wheel when the key got stuck? Maybe that helps? Otherwise..
Your lock cylinder could be wearing out. I had a car that did that. I fixed it by spraying lubricant in the key hole.

btw your car looks nice but it’s weird to see it without the gray color on the bottom 1/3rd

Darn. Oh SD already said that I didn't even read it... If you have two keys you could use one to lock/unlock and then leave the other key stuck in there all the time. And hope the issue resolves itself. Otherwise I dunno. Goodluck.

I had this happen to me before and even though the shifter looked like it was in park it was not. Try putting pressure on the shifter when it happens again.

Update!

Found out if you turn the steering wheels all the way like to lock it, the key comes right out first try! Weird !
