Help! I知 going crazy on a master cylinder replacement
I知 the second owner of a 1996 LS 400. Bought it when it was 2years old. Flawless car. I知 having an issue with replacing the master cylinder. I purchased several from respected used Lexus parts companies, asking for low mileage cars and Traction control. So far , none of these parts match my master cylinder, just went again to a local Lexus parts house, they had a 95 LS400 , under 100k miles, had traction control, book said it was a perfect match, I get home and look, and it痴 not the same. What am I doing wrong, have I entered the twilight zone?

Go oem or rock auto, its cheap either way. Master is stupid easy on these cars. I'm going to be making a video on removing the master, booster and bleeding brakes on a 2000 this weekend.

Have someone who has done one of these exact same master cylinders...the traction control units are more difficult and if you don't disassemble and reassemble per shop manual can scratch bore....
