No ramps just jack stands and a floor jack.
I've always shied away from ramps for the reason you mentioned...

X2 on the stands and jack.
But my reason is a portable jack and jack stands fit good in the trunk. Did that with every one of my cars since I started driving. And a tool bag with just the basics, I used to always drive pretty far for work. Never know when ya gonna need to change a transmission on the side of the highway. Yes, it's been done, in a snow storm.

I’ve got a set of race ramps, my other car sits a little low so I bought them for it. Two piece and they don’t weight a ton.

Im not a fan of jacks and stands and I have a good selection but they arent in my wheelhouse these days if I can avoid them for a few reasons. My driveway is at an angle jacks are heavy and a literal pain to bring out in my situation. For oil changes, fluids, ramps are way preferred in this situation, jacks last choice.

Yeah, I saw that. They are plastic so I back em up with jackstands. I haven't had a problem with them, but do I trust them with my life? Nope.

The original Rhino Ramps were pretty great cause they were solid. Then they thinned them out so they'd be more stackable and NOPE.

But I just got me a floor jack so.

I screwed together several pieces of wood to get about 3" of height. Can be made higher though for my fluid changes that is sufficient to allow access to the necessary drain bolts as well as drain pan clearance. Lumber is more $ these days though it's a good surface that unless the termites have a big munchfest on, they will be pretty stable in use.

Rhino Ramps I found on OfferUp brand new for $20. Makes doing oil changes super easy, and I'm not damaging my pinch welds by using a jack and jackstands. Plus they have a rubber footpad that helps keep them in place when driving up on them so they don't push out the minute your tire comes into contact with it.
