I recently did some work under the dash, afterward had the exact same problem as you. I left my cabin air temperature sensor unplugged! Easy fix, just remove the two lower pieces of dash trim, the connector should seat a few inches below the key ignition cylinder.

UPDATE:

Ordered a new sensor from my dealer before I even took anything apart. Once I did, I found the sensor was, you guessed it, just unplugged. I replaced it with the new sensor anyway, because why not. Now everything works perfectly!

Good thing it was a simple "fix".

It kind of begs the question though: Who was working under the dash before you, and was this same person doing other work/maintenance on the car? (No offense, vidlev )

I was thinking the exact same thing. The only explanation I can come up with is that the woman who owned it before me had someone peak under there to find why the steering wheel column was squeaking and they forgot to plug that back in?
