Default Strange whirring noise in 98 LS400 tripping codes

Good morning everyone! I have a 98 LS400 that’s currently tripping codes saying every single cylinder is misfiring. The only thing I can feel/hear that the car is running strangely is this loud whirring noise when the car accelerates, almost like it’s trying to imitate a supercharger. Has anyone experienced this before? Posted a video for context.

edit: had to cut the video into two short clips in order to not go over file attach size limit, apologies.

Timing belt toast? I wouldn't let it snap.

I was thinking harmonic balancer too possibly but yea I don't know. I can't see the videos but you are stating all of them are misfiring, seems like a larger issue there that is involving everything.

the codes say they’re all misfiring but there definitely not. I’m worried it’s either a failing alternator the electronic control module but I won’t know til I have an official diagnosis

The misfiring of every single cylinder simply means that the timing is off in most cases of a 98-00. I'd check the timing first. I worry that the timing belt is about to snap.

Inspecting your timing belt; the least labor intensive belt cover to remove would be the left bank, IMO.
