Does anyone know if there is a repair kit out there for the internal pieces inside a 96's headlight? I have a photo of a small plastic piece that was loose and rattling around inside the passenger side assembly. Everything else about the headlight was good, bulbs all came on and no issues on the glass area.

I have done many repairs to Jaguar X and S type headlights by opening them up with a heat gun and replacing the brittle factory plastic pieces with sturdier kits from Ebay from a guy in Europe. I come across parts from vehicles being parted out and picked up the passenger side on a 96 LS400, but want to repair the part in the attachment first before selling the headlight. I wasn't able to locate any kits out there like there are for Jaguar headlights.

I haven't opened up the headlight with a heat gun yet as I want to make sure I can locate the parts I need first. Based on the attachment, do you know of a suitable replacement or am I going to have to fabricate the side that is missing? It's possible that small piece is in the assembly and I could use a strong glue, but I haven't opened it up yet.

I saw on a video of someone who opened an LS430 headlight that similar looking pieces were inside where the adjuster screws fed through, but I also couldn't locate an LS430 repair kit. Hoping someone knows exactly what the name of these things are or a part number to order with.

I've not been aware of any headlight maintenance parts being available. If you find some, let us know. Generally members will hunt them down from the junk yards or buy aftermarket for the whole assembly.
