Default Fuel pumps: aftermarket vs OEM (Denso)

Considering buying an aftermarket since the OEM part will take 5 days to get it.

should I just wait and drive the truck around for a week?

also, I’m having trouble finding the exact same part number as the pump I removed from my 1995 LS400 its a Denso 195130-0700.

I found a Denso 9500152 on Amazon that says it fits in my car for 80 dollars, comes with the strainer and whatnot.

Thanks for this awesome forum! Saved me a lot of time on this car.

Why are you changing the fuel pump? It is very unusual for them to fail did the car sit for a very long time? The original is over $300

This style pump is used in many vehicles so the Denso number may not match but show compatible.

Yeah, it’s been sitting for 5-6 years that my family owned it. It seems to be the issue after troubleshooting. It was running and idling very poorly/running lean but always fired up.

It all the sudden died and wouldn’t start back up. Has spark and a new MAF.

I would get the Denso. FYI there are two versions 9510013 comes with everything but the strainer 9500152 comes with everything including the strainer which you definitely want.
