Who has the most mileage on their LS400? (The Mother Thread)
#226
My '95 just turned over 213,000. Still runs nearly PERFECT and gets around 28mpg highway. However, the motor/tranny mounts are shot and the passenger side manifold leak makes the car sound like an old farm truck. But I've got new mounts and a set of S&Ss sitting in my living room that will cure that. Can't wait to see how long it goes. The only other car I owned that went this far was a '94 Honda Accord which was at 250,000 when it was stolen out of my garage

My 94 LS is the second LS in my family to pass 200K.
I just joined the 200K + club a few weeks back & it really looks good for its age since having the front bumper resprayed. I also have replaced the interior thanks to a group buy here so overall condition is very good.
I still like to drive it & probably push it to hard to get decent mpg average.

Just turned 220,000. Have said for a long while that this is my 250K, but I'm beginning to think it may be 350K or more. Still runs good, do need to get new speakers, and maybe a little trim paint...but other than that...all is well.

We're having an intermittant EFI/ignition problem on our '90 LS400, but the mechanic couldn't believe how strong the engine runs for having 327k miles on it now. Of course it ran perfectly for him :-P

1994 Ls400 - 295,000
I've owned the car since 115,000 and have had to replace the following:
1. ABS attenuator hose - $400
2. Water Pump/Timing Belt Kit/Fan Shaft Assembly - $1000
3. Wheel Bearings - $500
4. Steering Rack - $500
5. Climate Control Display - $200
6. This winter will need Speedometer Cluster - $200 (Ebay & I will Install)
7. Shocks - $1000
8. And will need to replace Bushings soon.
But for 5 years ownership and 295,000 thats pretty good for having a Lexus with a great ride, good gas mileage and dependable transporation. Drives Like New.
