my wonderful lexus ls400
I recently purchased a 1997 Lexus LS400 from an auction site, it had 225,000 miles on it, but I had heard such good things about the Lexus, mostly from this forum! I have always wanted a Lexus ES300, but not to much different from the 400. I sell used cars for a living and this was just a great streak of luck to find this car. Your viewers will probably be quite surprised to hear what the car sold for. The bidding closed at $925.00 + 10% tax = $1017.50 total price out the door. Now it cost me $30.00 for towing, new ignition switch $90.00, the car had not been registered since 2005, so that was another $1,200.00, I live in California so I also needed a smog certificate $60.00 and to have 2 chipped keys from the dealership another $775.00, but that still only puts me at $3175.00. And believe me it is more than worth the money.
I feel like I died and went to heaven in this car. I drive old beat up clunkers most of the time, (the sale cars), so when I was finally able to have the keys made and drove the car for the first time! Wow! The car was immaculate inside and out. The only real problem that I have found with the car is that the power antennae makes noise going up and coming down. But no major problems, what a great car it is. I would suggest this car to anyone who can afford it or gets lucky and finds a great deal on it. 230,000 miles and going strong. I love Lexus!

i got my ls 93 at 150k about 2 years ago then i move to arizona and leave the car in california for my little bro to drive it ... Told him to take care of it... and he somewhat did and somepart he slacking...now i got the car back just 2 years he wrap it up to 225k now with timing belt change , water pump change , belt tensioner change , EGR crack and changed to new one , tranmission fluid change , currently it seat at 225k ..and still running like a champ... and still daily driven it everyday.. last week i just done a trip , drove it from california los angeles to arizona phoenix and it didnt even sweat a bit , run so smooth , and run so awesome , only down side is that he didnt take care of the interior and he didnt take care of the paint , but im thinking of using high mileage mobil 1 10w40....just a bit more protection ...soon i have to change the valve cover gasket,,
this new year i will take it from phoenix to VEGAS with my girlfriend.......I LOVE THIS CAR..

332,587 miles on 95 LS
I have said this a few times but I have the highest.I also posted proof about a year ago.332,587miles and I just put 22 inches on it yesterday.Rebuilt tranny a year ago that cost $2300.
