I have only 301,000 and still going strong at 300k I finally removed the radiator and found it had some build up changed Toyota antifreeze and distilled water every other year. My Lexus is a 1991 with everything original I use mobil one synthetic oil in everything so far so good. THE WORD OUT THERE IS A GUY IN SAN DIEGO WITH OVER A MILLION MILES ON HIS ENGINE 1989 LEXUS.

I have only 301,000 miles so far, my secret using snythetic oil in all my parts trans motor, ps, and rear end. The air condition is still working with r12 just changed out my radiator it was in great shape the car is a 1991 ls 400 they go for ever.

1997 LS 400 249, 749 and running like a dream. Completely replaced steering pump and all associated parts and all control arms 2 years ago and always use synthetic oil. friends drive it and can not believe how nice it runs.

Closing in on 200,000!
I am at 197,1xx! I just recently did a post on all the work I have done on my car and realistically, its been less than $700 to do the necessary maintenance. I LOVE my LS400!

1990 ls 400
Serial # 000718 . Runs great at 92,502 miles1990 LS400 - purchased in August 1989 in Kansas City, MO. Car always parked and garaged in the winter since it goes sideways in snow and ice.
