Who has the most mileage on their LS400? (The Mother Thread)
#872
Im from Australia, i own both a 1992 ucf10 and a 1995 ucf20.
My ucf10 is my daily driven vehicle, its clocked well over 1million (kms) on the O.d.o now 1,187,000kms! (Thats nearly 740,000miles)!! Original engine, no heads done or rebuilds. It has not 1 leak, nor does it burn any engine oil, coolant, no smoke etc (except the tiniest bit of PS oil as expected in all ucf10s), other then that the car drives and feels like it's just left the show room floor and seeks to amaze me of its sheer reliability/durability !
Too top it off i brought it from a bloke who had every single service & maintenance done by the same Lexus dealership he brought it from new! And kept every single receipt for its past 25years of duty !

Great to hear the car remains as durable and reliable and running just like it left the showroom floor. Very impressive!
Keep logging those miles!

I read through a lot of the posts on here and it's encouraging to hear what the 400s are getting for mileage. I'm hoping to see 300K on my 2001 in a few years. I commute roughly 33,000 miles a year in it. Right now, I'm just under 150K. Thanks for the inspiration guys!

mileage on my LS400
I have a '91' LS400 that has 315k miles on it! Before I tore it down to replace the starter it ran like a scaled dog. Now it won't hardly idle. I love that car and sure hope I can get running good again. i am new to this forum thing and not sure if I am doing it right. But I will be here in the background till I do.
