325,very cool.If I can pull another 80K on mine (245K),its a lifetime car for me.Gives me hope. Tho.....I might like an upgrade maybe in the future??? Depends if any other Lexus proves as reliable.Im currently sold on the Lexus name for sure.

There is a 1990 LS400 here locally that I am considering to purchase. It has 225K and is priced @ $3900. I just hope it is a good car, with these miles. I know these Toyotas/Lexus are great though. I just sold a 1993 Camry LE V6, (similar to Lexus ES300) and it had 212K and was still like new. It was even still 100% squeak and rattle free. I do have a 1998 Ford Taurus with 245,500 miles, which suprises me. I did not even know these Taurus' would last these many miles. My transmission is getting tired however.

1998 Still Runs Like New
My 1998 just crossed 242,000 and runs and drives like new. Two power steering pumps, new rack & pinion with ball joints and new shocks after 20 years...not bad. I thought about selling and luckily changed my mind!!!

269,000 miles on my 1995 LS400, which I just traded for a 2002 LS430. I have been riding in the LS400 since 2000 with 50,000 miles and it has been mine since 2009 with 202,000 miles. it has been the best car I have ever owned by a very wide margin.
The LS400 was still in excellent condition but the LS430 is just so much better... Bigger, faster, quieter, smoother...

Looking at the above pics... I'm embarrassed over how bad my engine bay looks.
Appears I have some cleaning and polishing to do....

We have a 99 LS400 and just turned over 120,000 miles. We originally leased it and then purchased. First three years we clocked over 70,000 miles and then averaged only 3000 per year. Over the last 10 years, our mechanics and the Lexus service advisors keep offering to buy it, but my wife will not turn it loose. I think you should be able to double your current mileage with little major expense along the way.

We have also been avid Lexus and Toyota owners. My wife was the first to drink the Lexus/Toyota Kool-aid with her lease and subsequent purchase of a 1999 LS400. It had all the options available at the time and she refuses to sell it. I was so impressed we have purchased no other brands since:
1. 2003 Sequoia Leased - 46K miles
2. 2005 4Runner Leased- 28K miles
3. 2007 ES-300 Leased and Purchased and sold to friend 156K miles
4. 2009 ES-350 Leased 76K
5. 2011 Toyota Camry (for my M-in Law) 30K
5. 2011 Tundra Leased 94K
6. 2013 GX460 Leased and Purchased 92K - Pictures I have are attached
I think I will keep the GX460 a while....

That's a very nice collection of cars you've had Jsidesjr. Thanks for sharing. When you find something that works, why change?
I sometimes wish I had lower miles on my 98...and the bumpers didn't need new paint. But it's a daily driver not a garage queen.
Needs to have some character.
