Cool so smooth

exactly 170, 042 when i parked it at work today... (93LS)

she just had a power steering pump issue (the idiots didn't know that you have to replace the pump AND the hose at the same time) so i went a couple days with no power steering, but no worries, now i steer the car with my pinky when im bored. By the way, can someone cue me into what VIP' Styling is? Just curious.

P.S. here is what part of the alphabet would look like if 'Q' and 'R' were eliminated.

Default 1990 - 223,000 miles

I bought my 1990 LS in '03 with about 140,000 miles on it and it's now just under 223,000. Timing belt had just been replaced when I bought it. 0-60 is around 7.5 - 8.5 seconds and I have to add maybe 1/2 quart of oil between changes (I change every 3,500 mi., Mobile1). Still getting 20-23mpg, which I think is pretty close to the mileage when the car was new! The engine in this car runs butter-smooth and the tranny performs flawlessly. Basically everything works nicely except the A/C...it's still only so-so.

I have had the following items replaced--amounts are parts+labor:
A/C compressor (twice, but the 2nd time was on warranty), hoses, evaporator, condensor, whatchacallit valve (in the dash)...$1,500.00
Alternator (3x, but 2nd and 3rd were on warranty)...$160.00
Steering pump...$420.00
Climate Control Display...Was replaced by dealer when I bought the car

I installed the following items myself so amounts are parts only:
Steering Hoses (actually had them rebuilt to 3x OEM pressure rating)...$70.00 (no typo!)
Rack & Pinion Unit...$275.00
RF Brake Caliper...$130.00
RF Tie rod end...$65.00
Daizen Front Suspension Bushing Kit...$100.00
Rotors, Front (2x)...$110.00 after market first time, $160.00 genuine Lexus on ebay
Rotors, Rear (1x)...$130.00 genuine Lexus on ebay
RH Rear Axel Half (After spinning out in the snow and hitting a curb!)...$65.00 on ebay
Ignition Wires and Spark Plugs...$175.00 (probably already replaced around 100,000?)
Also repaired driver's seat so both sides would recline instead of just one...$25.00 - 30.00

Need to Replace:
Front Main Seal
A/C still somewhat screwed up
Heater Fan is just a tad noisy

Probably will replace timing belt again and water pump while replacing the front main seal.

Theres a 92 LS near me with 196,000 miles for sale. I kinda want it, the interiors in good shape, exteriors in good shape, just a tiny bit of rust.... Although on start-up it ran rough and shook alot. After it warmed up it was a bit tighter and smoother, but still not like you guys say they run like.

He wants 4500, I figure I'd be better off just waiting for one with about 100K miles since I would only pay a few grand extra.... once they hit that age they dont depreciate.

Still a nice car tho. Still better than my moms 99 civic with about 90,000 miles.

92 with 179K. Starting to feel some aches and pains. Steering shroud and control arms just failed. I love the car . Only bad thing is I bought this black on black and it feels like I am driving in an oven on sunny days
