Man...what kind of things did he take out? Initially I thought the car was rolled.

Very sad to see a fine car end this way.

Default a few more thoughts

I bought this car from from the original owner. I swear the poor guy must have been about 90 years old. He had every single service done at the dealer. (not saying that Lexus dealers are reputable), but when I added up the receipts, this guy had over $16,000 just in maintenance. The car was mint. This is why I am so upset. She was my baby. As to my x friend who wrecked the car, he's been avoiding me at all costs. Everything is good with my insurance company. Guess I'll have to wait it out and hope for the best.

My x friend walked away without a scratch.
...that would have been until I got my hands on him That is just wrong to treat someone's possession like that!!

I thought I would start this thread as a warning to others. Think twice about letting people borrow your vehicle. I thought he was joking about how fast he was going, but when I saw the car (especially the tire blowout) I was pretty much in shock.

Here is a thread a buddy relayed to me about an M3 driver in the Orange County area.

Your just told you straight out what happened? Couldn't he at least say a tried to avoid a dog or something.

Seriously though, I have friends with great cars and friends with just average cars. The friends with great cars I know not to ask them to borrow their cars. Its just a rule a guy should know. I keep away just out of respect. But I don't mind taking out one my friends Taurus or Rav4.

That's really sad to hear. Hopefully your friend will make things right with you...but maybe you should consult a lawyer just in case. It's really a lose-lose situation though.

Sorry to hear about your ride man. He was never really your friend. Real friends don't do these sort of things.
