That is totally sad. Loosing such a great car over someone elses careless actions. That was totally wrong of your friend, I bet if that would have been his car , he would not have done that. Just thinking about it gets me mad.. Hope you get him for this.

I am a person who belives in the philosophy "what goes around comes around". For some reason I feel that I must in some way be responsible for this. Not simply for letting this individual borrow my car, but for some deeper meaning. I am positive it will all be for the best in the end.

Yea, I once wrecked by best friends Honda CBR600. Basically lost balance on some sand and dropped it. Caused about $400 in damage. That was the 5hittiest feeling I'd ever had in my life. I made sure to repay him in many ways for the next 5 years. I STILL go out of my way to help him out when I can. About your car, I'm curious to know how much the insurance company will sell it back to you for. I'd be very interested in buying it to help out my car. I know what great condition it was in and would hate to see it end up in a salvage yard. Maybe I can make the frame into a waterbed? Hehe. Last year my friend backed into my Volvo wagon and busted the headlight and corner sections...bent a few things. The insurance company totaled it out and gave me $2350, then offered to sell me the car for $200. I spent $35 at a local salvage yard and it looks like new.

i'll see what i can find out
people talk all day long about ther cars being mint, but man my LS really was. It was always garaged, rarely driven, and I don't think the car ever saw a drop of rain.

Glad your friend lived through it or better yet walked away from it. If he was hospitalized and was released tell the hospital staff to save his room cause he would be returning shortly.
