Now that we decided to do the LS for me and are buying the MDX off the lease I am debating purchasing the upgraded DVD for the Navi and have to get over to the MDX board and do some pro-con research. Heard that the new one slows down the response time but since I live rural IL and don't really take metro trips with it I may just stay happy with the OEM disc. MDX will become kids vehicle in 3 years after they get licenses.

Thanks Milla,

Black always looks great on Lexus. Love the car but lately been thinking of upgrading to LS430. The only think that's holding me back, is that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the 99. Got any pictures of your rides.

Just picked up my new '04 LS430 with Modern Luxury, Levinson/ Nav, and Smart Access. It's Flint Mica with the Ash interior. Awesome ride. I'll post pics soon.

I'm still working on pics believe me, Its just one of the lowest things on my list of priorities right now. I understand your desire, thats one of the reasons why I always leased my LS's well that and for write offs. I have to say out of all my past LS's your gen was my favorite.

I notice you have the lexus installed in your 93 ls 400. I have a 97 ls 400 with all of the cables for a phone, includine the hands free speaker. Any idea how or if it is possible to use with today's phone products?

Cool

I have owned Mercedes since 1968. Two months ago I purchased an SC 430 for my wife; loved the car. This weekend I purchased an LS 430 Sport Edition Custom Package to replace my Mercedes 2004 CLK 55. Marvelous auto (the Lexus LS 430); but now my wife has it. I guess I am relegated to the SC. In my estimation the Mercedes can't begin to compare. I looked at an E 500 (poor comparison). Then at an S430, price $85,000; no comparison to the Lexus quality. Love both.

Default I, Too, Was A Mercedes

buyer. I won't go back. The difference is amazing. Not to mention the (lack of) hassle factor (with the Lexus).
