Default Wheel & Tire Setup

Hi everyone! I recently purchased a 1995 LS400. I have spent some time in the forums but there is a lot of information out there and after a few hours of looking I'm hoping someone might just help me out. The car did not come with air suspension, but I do plan to get that installed before wheels/tires. The car will be a daily driver.

I want to run a 20" wheel setup on air ride. I am also looking to run a staggered setup. I don't want anything too aggressive. I would like to avoid adjusting camber etc. Ideally I would like to just at most trim or roll fenders, but only if absolutely necessary.

That being said I need help. I need to know if this is even possible or if I need to rethink my goals. I would prefer to run maybe 20x8.5 or 20x9 in the front, and maybe 20x10 or more in the back if possible. I am not sure on the tire size either but I would prefer not to stretch tires.

Would someone please weigh-in on the matter? If possible, what wheel widths and offsets would be best suited for what I am looking to do? What size tires?

Any help or opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance.

Lower the car or put large rims on - pick one. If you pick both, it's going to be a challenge to get them to fit properly without issues. Spacers, camber, rolling fenders, etc, etc.

All your questions are answered in the wheel thread. Read through there.

It seems a lot of people go for 19's rather than 20's.

As a personal anecdote - putting big rims on ruins the ride quality. It's going to be a pretty stark difference in how "crashy" the car becomes. Just... be ready for that. The glide of air the car floats on will be gone.
