Default '95 LS Heater

Testing out the various heater functions on my new (to me) LS.
I find the air flow going to the windshield (in defrost / defog) mode to be about half that of the other settings (dash, floor, etc).
Is this the way they all are? It seemed the blower had to be on a pretty high setting before I could really "feel" the flow.
It's there, just seems weaker than I would have expected, compared to other cars I have owned and compared to the other settings in this one (as I mentioned earlier).
Is it just me?

iirc, when windshield defrost mode is toggled the fan should go full speed and send all the air to those vents. of course you can manually slow down the fan speed.

perhaps the internal vent doors are suck somewhere? feel the other vents to ensure they are all closed (no other air coming from them).

I hate to differ with someone who took the time to answer my question, but ... I'm pretty sure when you hit defrost the airflow is shunted to the windshield and floor vents. Which it does. Same with pretty much every other car I have owned. With that being said, it just seems to me like there should be more airflow to the glass then there is. Seems like a 70/30 split ; Floor / Windshield.

I was questioning the functionality of the blend doors myself. Maybe this is the way Lexus intended it
