I know there is plenty of good information here about this but this is a little different
had sticky speedo for a couple of years, the whack on dash still works but now it won’t go pass 70. It stops there. Always. rap on dash doesn’t work. I believe it is accurate up to 70. I was thinking of replacing with a rebuilt cluster from tannin. I need to have 2000 ls back on road quickly. How much labor is involved in replacing cluster. I am not very mechanical. Thanks for any advice

 

This is not a diy job in my opinion. These clusters are complicated. youll need to send it to a shop to have repaired.
