Hello Everyone,
Does anyone know where I might be able to find a Thermostat Housing for my 1997 LS400? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You should be able to find one at any major parts supplier, like Advance, O'Reilly, etc

Thanks Celsior, but not this part. The thermostat housing actually holds the thermostat on the LS and then has a cap (available at most auto parts stores). The housing connects the water pump to the intake manifold and is a separate aluminum part.

$147 - from my experience they have a good history of providing genuine products. Pricing structure is similar to online dealership parts counters, but far higher than Chinese knockoffs.

Looks like the part number changed mid-year.
Check your VIN if the car was made before July 1997 it's a discontinued part. I'm guessing that's why you're here in the first place...

You called it. My 97 was actually manufactured in Dec. 1996 so I'm looking for the early part that doesn't seem to be available from any new source. I was looking into used or salvaged parts and can't find it there either. Thanks.
