Need Help! ... Not really, just want to know what this is...
What the heck is this camber under the front underbody cover on my 1999 LS? Is it for barometric pressure, outside humidity, condensate discharge? It is an empty chamber with one tube that disappears up into the side of the engine bay. It could be a fun game to guess what it does and if it's superfluous (doubt it). I looked at some of the schematics and haven't found it, so I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.
It is just an empty plastic chamber with a tube that goes up into the a tight area. I tied a string to the tube to wiggle it while I looked from the top of the engine bay to see where it goes. I couldn't find anything so maybe it goes to a hard line or something.
The rivets holding it in place are broken, so I'll just cut off the rivets with end cutters and put some new rivets in... But I'm still interested in what it is! Thanks all,

Just need this number and we'll know exactly what part it is:
It's a canister that's attached to the charcoal canister.
Mystery solved.. my '94 has the same thing under the radiator albeit it looks a little different. However I can see that it connects to the charcoal canister on the driver's side.
I should have looked at parts drawings for the fuel system... or at the number right on the part!
It is part number 77770-50010, TANK ASSEMBLY, CHARCOAL CANISTER. Part applies to 1995-2000.
Not sure if it just exhausts fuel vapor beneath the engine compartment.
Interesting that this Drawing shows it connecting to the fuel lines to the rear of the car... Or does the dotted line just skip the charcoal canister assembly?
it appears to just be a breather for the cannister or the tank fill spout.
fuel vapor is not pushed in there or that defeats the purpose of a charcoal cannister in the first place; fuel vapor is re-routed back to the intake manifold (after the charcoal) to get burned again so it never sees atmosphere = less emissions.
