Default Another Heater Question (1995)

Winter is here and heat becomes an issue.

With mine set to bi-level (dash / floor split), air flow is about 80% floor / 20% dash (give or take).
We also have an SC ('94) in the household and with the heat set the same ... it's clearly more like a 50/50 split - dash/floor with arguably more air flow overall.

I'm guessing this would be some sort of a blend door malfunction? Anyone else run into this an maybe fixed it?
Very similar situation when set to floor / defrost. Most air going to the floor vents with some (but not much) doing to the windshield vents.

Overall temperature seems a bit low as well. Only ever seems to get "medium hot", never "HOT hot".
The situation is liveable, I just hate it when things don't work as intended.
