1994 LS400 ECU Fed emissions vs California
Hi friends,
Does anyone know if the ECU for the Fed emissions cars are different from the California emission cars.
Can any one confirm what these ECU are in the following pictures:

California spec has its own ECU due to a different EGR system among other things.

Both of these are California spec. One is for 93 and other for 94.

I don't recall what "small" changes there was between the 2 years. But, just to let ya know, the Ca. spec will work on the fed. spec cars. But, as mentioned, the emissions is different for the Ca. cars. I know there's an air pump on the Ca cars that's not there on the fed. spec cars.
