Are these the stock wires for the Nakamichi stereo? 1992 LS400
Planning to get the stock Nakamichi stereo off eBay. Taking a look at my wires since I think the stereos for 1990-1992 have different wiring harnesses.
My lexus is a 1992.
Are these the stock wires?
I'm pretty sure the #1 and #2 are the speaker / stereo wires that go into all the 1990-1992 stereos.
Unfortunately, it looks like both the Pioneer and Nakamichi stereos used the same connectors (even though the wiring is different).
You will probably need to check the amp in the trunk, the door speakers, or the subwoofer to see if they are for the Nakamichi system or not in order to determine which stereo should be in the car

So seems like you're saying they are stock though.. right? We just don't know which yet? One of the door tweeters fell off before I bought the car so maybe it has the logo not sure where it went though.
1. How can I know if they're Nakamichi? (like it should have a logo on it?)
2. Also side question how can I get the new tweeter to stick back in the door?

I think the main problem is that the headunit for Pioneer and Nakamichi both use the same connectors as per the diagram. They're just in a different orientation
To know for sure, I believe you need to go look at the amplifier in the trunk.
Using the part number of the amp or the door speakers, you should be able to tell whether if they are from the Nakamichi or Pioneer system.
Also to note - the subwoofer for the Pioneer system was an odd 2 ohm unit. This would be a giveaway that it was Pioneer.
isn't the amplifier under the pass side seat, not in the trunk? perhaps they are in the trunk in 1st gens 90-94. i had a 97 and mine was under the seat.
