aloha from hawaii i am new to lexus cars was looking for a ls430 but its only me driving around really dont need 4 doors or a v8 but i want a well made reliable v6 and its going to be a used model please tell me what you would buy !

 

I love my LS430, but i dont think its a good car for Hawaii. You want a Tacoma

 

I love my ls430, but it eats brakes, tires, and batteries relatively often and gets 17-18 mpg (others do better, it could be my thermostat or who knows what). My parents have a 2009 es350. I don't like it as much but it gets over 30mpg highway (and they oftenm use regular gas). Other than dealer maintenance and a damaged center coinsole cover, it has been trouble-free for 130k+ miles. No failures and fewer issues (rattles, alternator, etc.) than my LS430. V6. Comfortable rear seat. Just make sure it has the options you want. I am fussy about some headlights and don't like theirs, but they vary by trim that year. Their car at age 13 looks and rides great. It is not an LS and feels different (lighter, not as planted in a sense), but it is a fine car in its own right. I am sure there are many others.
