Back from Alaska, took her to get basic servicing. While reconnecting my battery after returning I realized how much corrosion was on ym positive terminal. Cleaned it, connected it back up and uh MY CODES ARE GONE. since then I've driven around 500 miles and the codes haven't popped back unless there was a voltage problem. So I also just got a new terminal clamp. I'm realizing how much of a pain this could be electronically. I also had to change my license plate lights since they were blown. For some reason they refused to work with LEDs but worked fine with new incandescent bulbs. My trunk tail lights on the other hand are still being weird and depending on start up they are either full lit (like in the pic) correctly or dim or completely out. All in all I've reset everything and she runs great with the exception of low tire popping up 1 time since clearing everything.

I've ordered all my audio stuff and will see about how much it will be to get it done by a shop. Along with the stuff I acn replace and tighten up along the way. (Cup holders, arm rest console, temperature controls.) I also will plan to get a better battery and alternator.

Miscellaneous: I also got a dash cover and on the way are a bunch of small stuff to help the daily ability of the car. Youll see what I mean in the coming weeks.

Good news on the battery terminal.
The reflection from that dash pad would drive me NUTS!
I get the need for a dash pad but it needs to be matt black and textured. Black fake suede would be best.

I Thought it was gonna bother me, but it really doesn't. I don't notice it driving unless I'm staring at the reflection. Black stitch just looked mega dull for something I'm spending a 100 on so I went with white. I'm more upset Abt the fitment if anything.

If your replacement unit is designed for no-nav system I think you will have an issue.

without ML / NAV, the climate controls are separate from the radio system. However with ML / NAV the climate controls are baked into the display over the CANBUS.

You would need a radio that can control the climate specifically for this car. Otherwise I fear you will have no HVAC control with the aftermarket radio designed for non navigation model.

Best of luck!

Does it show all service done or only at the dealership?

I’ve used this - it shows the same service history items you see on the car fax. With exception to accidents and owners etc.

If the auto shop reported the vehicle history, it should show here. Doesn’t have to be car dealership specific.

If it’s been serviced at lexus you can view their maintenance notes on their website if you register and put in your VIN
