2004 Lexus LS430 UL
Hi all,
i have a 2004 Lexus LS430 UL. It has original air suspension.
The car dips lower on the driver side when the car is parked and engine off.
On the road it is fine.
What is the cause?
Any help will be much appreciated!!

Please let us know what you replace with and price. Lexus air struts are astronomically expensive (2k each retail) so I am curious what he can do or if buying used/Arnott, etc... That question comes up a lot on this forum. I have a 2005 UL so personal interest in seeing options and results. Thanks.

Update: ended up purchasing original air strut from toyota.
Im currently in Taiwan. Below is the cost.
front: 35,000NT$ per strut (includes part, installation, and wheel aligning fee) = ~1,137.95USD
35,000 x 2 = 70,000NT$ (~2,276.20USD)
rear: 33,000NT$ per strut (includes part, installation, and wheel aligning fee) = ~1,072.93USD
33,000 x 2 = 66,000NT$ (~2,146.19USD)

I'm considering a 2004 LS430 UL with 140,000 miles. A previous owner about a year ago replaced the passenger side-rear air strut with an Arnott AS-3073, as well as Lexus OEM solenoid, part number 4809650040, and height control tube, part number 4898650040. As far as I know (but I am not 100% sure), the other three air struts on the car are original.
What I am wondering is 1) if the mix of one Arnott and three Lexus air struts is sub-optimal, 2) If the Arnott strut is any good, and 3) if the other three original air struts and associated suspension parts are likely to fail in the not too distant future?
