Default Check out my lowered 2001 Ls430 on OEM Bags! (with Pics!)

I have a 2001 UL ls430 with 180k miles (original air suspension) all my bags are in good condition except the right rear dampening is bad and is leaking oil. The ride is still good compared to other cars lol. I bought a whole new set (all 4) with 72k miles from a 2006 model for $900, unconfirmed just taking his word for it. yikes. All are in good condition so when my current ones go I have a set with 100k less miles ready to go. What do you think?! I also lowered my car using an asc680, it's an air suspension controller for the OEM bags that overrides the computer. It didn't really affect ride quality except for when going over harsh bumps! I lowered it just enough to almost tuck the tires both front and rear on stock 17in wheels with factory tire size (don't know off the top of my head). I occasionally slam it on the ground at car meets. I routed the controller to the front ashtray all the way from behind the glove box for a clean OEM look (had to do some cutting for a perfect fit!) Check out these pics!

Where do you plug in the controller? I've seen a few used ones off eBay but I don't think any of them come with instructions

I actually posted a video on how to install it on youtube, the first one in English!

This only works if you have the ultra-luxury package with the oem air suspension by the way.
The computer for the air suspension is behind the glove box in the LS430. There is a harness that comes with the actual controller (two different harnesses for the facelift 87-E and pre-facelift 87-D)

Where did you pick up your controller and harness? I see quite a few used ones for sale on eBay

Thanks, yea I'm debating getting the controller or just adjusting my height sensors on the front. Unfortunately, my adjustor is rusty so I'm not able to turn the rods, I was thinking of ordering a set of used height sensors and adjust those rods.

I recommend using the controller for lowering the oem air bags
