Hello all, I have a 2005 LS430 that is popping up with the P0761 code. I have been dealing with it for a couple months now. I have had the ECU repaired, the fluid changed and checked over by a transmission shop. It is intermittent and will go away by itself. It will act completely normal and then depending on the day the car will pop the code and get stuck in 3rd gear and lockup will cease. If I slam on the accelerator it will shift at redline and then immediately go back to 3rd and back to having no lockup.

I have techstream, I shared the data with the shop and nothing stood out to them, I even went out with my father on a drive and we used TS to manually shift through the gears and they all engaged properly with the code still active, even with the code the problem doesnt always occur and sometimes the hard acceleration will get it to shift normally for the rest of the trip.

Additionally if I accelerate from a stop extremely slowly it will shift properly.

Im quite lost on this, I don't want to have to spend hundreds of dollars on a new solenoid when through dozens of posts here and on other forums it has been shown to not always work and come back and when Ive already spent a hefty sum getting the new ECU and fluid change as some have suggested only for the problem to keep coming back.

all the links Ive found referencing similar issues in vehicles with the related transmissions to the A761E along with TSBs, code descriptions and other stuff
I dont get the related codes of P2714/P2757 that many others seem to get which also is another point of confusion.
