As you all may be aware, the value of a LS 430 with less than 100K miles in good shape is in excess of 20K as proved by recent auction site prices. Nonetheless, the book values of these cars is much less meaning that if you have collision coverage, you would recover far less than the car's replacement cost. Have any of you been able to obtain stated value coverage for your car? Thanks

I have on my 04 through Hagerty. It is not a daily driver and I suppose they verify it by checking public records/carfax to see how much mileage was put on between inspections. It is sitting at 80K miles nearly flawless except for the few paint chips in the nose and torn weather seals on both rear doors from pushing on the edge to close. I am thinking they would not sell you insurance if you drive over a few thousand miles a year. They do ask to see proof of insurance on your daily drivers and probably do the mileage verification on it as well.
