been waiting for more on this, mine has chrome 17 but an alloy spare so seems possible to me the dealer just had the wheels done.

I have factory Chromes on my 2005 UL, including the spare. Absolutely gorgeous, but they are prone to leaking due to corrosion. And now a bit of peeling. Not a recent problem, but I've had far more leaks to reseal or get rim cleaned than with other cars, and lost a tire or two to neglect over the years a slow leak got me. For simplicity and longevity, plain alloy are better. But they are beautiful.

New member here, first post. I'm looking at the 17" chrome wheel from the same seller. Wanted a nice LS430 for years, just bought a beautiful 2004 70,000 mile car a month ago. Three wheels are perfect condition one has some peeling, so I would like to replace it. On "My Lexus" website it shows mine came with standard lexus wheels, dealer removed wheels and replaced with chrome wheels at customers request 12/28/2003 at 333 miles.
Would like to know if the OP bought the wheel and what he thinks of it.

Not entirely on topic but perhaps pertinent nonetheless. My 05 came with factory 17" chrome wheels. I ordered an additional chrome wheel from Longo Lexus to replace the non-chrome spare. I don't recall the part number. You should be able to figure out whether chrome 18" wheels are factory searching either Longo Lexus' or Bell Lexus' on line parts departments. Be sure to enter your VIN in either case.
