Default A pillar trim

I cannot for the life of me remove the trim piece from the A pillar. Anyone know how? Other threads just say to "yank on it" but that doesnt work

lexus manual says to push on it then to pull to disengage, but pushing does nothing and when i pull it only unclips partially

For anyone in the future who needs help with this here is another video that helped. I ended up having to just pull with all my strength and not worrying about it breaking.

So basically just yank it like you are starting a lawnmower?

Did you lose any of the mounting tabs?
