you all in CL contribute to this, ya know ? Seeing all the nice modded cars in here make me want to try modding my car.
As for the wheel choice, I think the dish would go well with the "bulky" bodyline of my car. And I'm a little old school (though I'm 23), so nothing too fancy, nothing too eccentric, just something simple & elegant.
Again thanks for the comments. I will post pics of the wheels on my car as soon as I have it installed.
Leexus: the writings are in German, I think just to increase "prestige". I believe the Japs are fond of foreign stuffs (American, German), and language is just one of them. It is almost the analog of us wanting to put Toyota & Celsior logo on our Lexus'.

I believe it's a digital slr with bouncing flash, and cuz of the softness, he seemed using Fuji S2 Pro
PandaGS430: I used digital SLRs for all the pictures: Nikon D100 (6 megapixels) for the pics of boxes, and Fuji S2 Pro (6 megs interpolated to 12 megapixels) for the wheel pictures, for both pics I bounced the flash off the ceiling. Too technical ?

Re search for all season / winter tires:
I'm personally planning on getting Yokohama AVS-db2's, for the following reasons:
1. Low noise.
2. Relatively long-lasting.
3. Good all-season (i.e. 3-season) performance.
If you plan on driving in snow, GET WINTER RIMS AND TIRES, and save your beautiful (expensive) summer wheels. They will last *much* longer if they don't see salt. You will also get far better tracion in winter with real snow tires, an issue that's especially important in a high-torque rear-wheel drive car. My preference: Michelin Pilot Alpins. Superb snow & ice grip, and very quiet. Maybe you could put them on your stock wheels?
A final suggestion on winter driving with rear-wheel drive. All "traction control" does is put the brakes on when your wheels start to slip - they actually do nothing to actually *improve* traction. A couple of patio stones in the trunk will actuall improve your traction on slippery surfaces.

I just put 18 inch michelins pilots a/s on my 2004 ls last thursday. Only have about 300 miles on them. They seem to be just what I wanted. It is suppose to start snowing soon here in Chicago.

I'm back and I think you where right about the Walds. They are super good looking. I originally thought I'd go with the Lock Smice wheels, but after reviewing your pics, both before and installed, I've come to the conclusion you got it right. Wald is the way to go on a LS 430. They are perfect. I love the detail and the quality look about them.
Tell me:
1. How much did you pay for the wheels?
2. Where did you order them from?
3. How long did it take to get them in hand?
Any other information regarding your purchase would be great.
Thanks,
Dave

very nice choice in wheels.
I agree on body kit....if I were you I would go with the Wald kit. I have seen a few very nice sedans with the Wald and nice AC's and man is it
Show us the pics....I agree, if you are in the north with sand/salt, wait til spring......but take a teaser pic with them on. Now, if you are down here in the south, go for it![Big Grin](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
EDIT
You are in the midwest...soooooo, guess its snow shoes
