Squated with spring clamps

Not that bad if I have the front level with the back instead of tucked in the fender. But I have the back all the way down. Im using the big clamps that you rent from the autoparts with the pins that lock the coil into place. About $90 for a front and rear drop. Just sharing a trick from back in the days when there were no drop kits and your only choice was cutting your springs or clamping them. Anybody on a budget can have their car dropped in about 2 hours.

and for just $150 more you could buy a set of cheap ebay coilovers that would still ride better and be much safer than this!
These clamps are not designed to be used under loads like you get from a 4,000lb sedan on a highway putting stress on them with every minor bump. You're putting yourself, your passengers, and the general public at risk.
Trust me I'm all for cheap ways to accomplish stuff but this is just dangerous man, and unnecessary when you can buy coilovers for $250-$300 bucks

Have to agree this is a questionable way to get an aesthetic result at the risk of safety. The LS430 is built for comfort and a quiet ride on the highway and while coilovers is the best approach even that sacrifices some of the smooth ride.
Not sure I would go with low cost parts and it is best to invest in acknowledged manufacturers especially if the OP sees this as a long term vehicle.
