Default I need solutions

Heloo guys , I'm new to this site , I own lexus ls430 2005 , I have issue with the dashboard, I need solution, some people says I need to replace the whole dashboard, but I didn't agree , please I need to know which parts I need to replace to fix this issue , My gauge cluster display only odometer , I can't see the compass, fuel mileage, range, and any error messages that would pop up.

Even if you were to fix the issue, you're going to need to buy an entire cluster anyways to use it for parts to repair yours.

I just picked up the displayed part and tried to analyze those dots.



Judging from the status of displayed dot's, it seems to me that the problem is caused by the drive circuit of the matrix since some dots are horizontally connected some but not fully as are indicated by red arrows. In order to distinguish the problem source, I'd try whacking the board hard first.

If the whacking changes the status, there may be some connection/soldering crack issue around the display circuit. If no change, the whisker problem may be the next item to check. Sometimes the component replacement job may be needed but it's beyond average DIYers.
