Default Apparent oil leak near oil filter. What usually leaks here? What parts to replace?

I removed the big bottom underbody protective cover and cleaned the engine compartment with brake cleaner.

I did some driving and a couple days later, about 25 miles or so, I took the picture I have included here.

I cant tell for sure if the oil that is on the oil filter bracket is leaking from the bracket or if it leaked down from the crank seal.

I lean towards diagnosing the leak as being from the bracket, maybe the sending unit / sensor.

So, is there certain parts that are most likely to leak in this area?

What do you think it is?

I have included a picture of what appears to be leakage from the crankcase seal, and a picture of the oil filter bracket with a drop of oil... Yuck.

Any insight appreciated.

High probability it’s the oil level sending unit gasket located aft of the drivers side motor mount. It’s a PITA to change. Might as well do the motor mounts if it’s leaking. Car Care Nut You Tube has tutorial about this in the Motor Mount R/R episode.

its just the lowest point on the engine. Spray everything down with brake cleaner, and then look for fresh oil, you might be able to see were its actually leaking from
