Default aftermarket 360 camera

Does anyone install 360 camera on LS430?
Turn signal on the bottom of side mirrors.
Is there enough space to install side cameras on the bottom of side mirrors?

Curious as well. But what head unit are you considering to facilitate a 360 view?

Unfortunately, aftermarket 360° cameras are unable to replicate the functionality of factory-installed ones for several reasons. Factory 360° cameras work by ensuring that the birds-eye view accurately reflects reality, particularly when parking, to prevent incidents like scratching adjacent cars due to misaligned views.

Factory 360° cameras typically incorporate settings such as car length, height, tire radius, wheel turn radius, the exact center of the camera in the back, and the location of the cameras on the mirrors from the center of the car. These settings, along with others, are crucial for proper parking and avoiding scratches or collisions.

aftermarket devices lack the ability to calibrate these parameters, making it challenging for them to provide an accurate birds-eye view or reliable parking assistance. In essence, these devices cannot replicate the comprehensive functionality of factory-installed 360° cameras.

Most of these aftermarket kits have just basing calibration but it will never work like the fact three 360° cameras work

I focus on following items from Aliexpress
1. Navi-S 8G-128G 360 2k DVR $320.61
2. EKIY KK5 8G-128G + camera kit+IC $286.81+$54.64=$341.45
3. Forefeel 7862 8G-256G 360 2k $384.67 +19.92(shipping)=$404
4. Forefeel 7862 8G-256G 360 $296.49 +19.92(shipping) =$316.41
5. Forefeel 6G-128G 360 + DVR $233.81 +28.54 +19.92(shipping) = $282.27
6. Forefeel 6G-128G DVR Backup camera $204.84 +19.92(shipping)=$224.74
7. FengShiDa 6G-12G 360 A $282.75 +11.68(shipping)
8. Junda Navi 4G-64G 360 DVR $293.06 +19.92(shipping)
If not specify 2k(2000*1200), resolution is 1280*720p
My 06 LS430 has 110k miles, It is a good buy to get 2k if everything(canbus, AC and parking sensors) works properly.
1. is cheapest for 2k screen, store open in March 10 2024, not sure whether everything works.
2. probably choose this one, as there are few review in this forum, AC control works.
5. seems good value for non 2k screen.
Extra $60 for 360 seems a good option. These 360 calibrations seems to be too simple to be accurate as Dashlynx's comments mentioned. Teyes has a 360 camera that claim support wheel trajectory lines and need to enter more data (360 Surround View Calibration Guide), its 720p screen version is $474+87(shipping) and 2k version is $538 +87(shipping). Just wonder whether its accuracy is worthy of $240+ than other models.
