Default Need tire recommendations for smooth, quiet ride

I'm looking first for new tires. I want the smoothest riding and quietest 17" tire.
My 2005 Custom Luxury has 133,000 miles and still looks and runs great. It is a great car and I plan on keeping it for a long time and want to do anything to restore it to original.
Everything is still tight but it doesn't ride as smooth, particularly over rough roads and isn't as quiet as I remember. I'm willing to spend money to make it as close to original as possible.
I still love the Black/Saddle combination.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I always chime in that I like my Vredestein Quatrac Pro tires. They are all-weather that may be overkill if minimal snow, but I've had them on 2 cars (other a aCadillac XTS). There may be a newer model than the Pro (the pro+), but check tire websites. quiet, comfortable, good in poor weather. Seem to last 40-50k miles, but I drive 6-7k per year on the Lexus usually so that is decent. I got them as a notch better than all-season in winter, but have been broadly satisfied. If available in 17's, worth a look. (Usually on here I see Pirelli or Michelin...)

Thanks for replying but they don't fit my car. My tires are 225/55-17.
I should have added that I live in South Carolina so this car stays in the garage for the infrequent snow or ice.

I use Nokians myself (all weather because I am in Toronto ) but would not recommend because of noise but have seen where many recommended Michelin Cross Climate 2 and praise highly which I will try next

I've had Michelin and Pirelli, Michelin high milage tires (80,000 mile warrenty) not good and the expensive race car tires wear out too fast
2 sets of Pirelli because 1st had some flat tires and after time just didnot like them, not as good as Michelins were
now on Bridgestone and they are better than Pirelli, but only 8,000 miles on them so far
I have 17 inch chrome wheels with about 175,000 miles on them. I have put over 100,000 miles but had them switched from one car to this one
2 sets Michelin bought and on the car when bought, 2 sets of Pirelli to date still have a Michelin Primacy spare but that needs replacing next time. did not want a Pirelli spare

I just installed CrossClimate 2s about a month ago. I had them Hunter Road Force balanced, because I am very picky. Old tires were Michelin Primacys.
I am very happy with the Cross Climates. Can they handle light to medium snowfall in Toronto? I will find out this coming winter.

Just North of Toronto here (snow belt). Not sure what you define as light to medium snowfall, but I've tried many snow tires over the 12 years of owning LS's in ON and a lot of them were not very confidence inspiring or even very scary. I now stick to Blizzak (currently WS90, expect 55,000 km life). Perfect winter tire for the LS for snow covered roads (in combination with two bags of salt in the trunk). Please report back after the winter about your experience.

For all seasons tires I'm currently at the last mm of thread of Pirelli P7 tires. I will not be buying those again. With the P7's it feels like the car is wandering and has no stability. They are quiet, but didn't last that long. My favorite so far were the Goodyear Assurance Tripletred - very good life and excellent during summer thunderstorms and downpours. Unfortunately those are no longer available. I'm thinking of trying another Assurance tire or Bridgestone next time.

No? https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...UeZsp_mdWo_gkw

(in short tirerack seems to have them in 225/55-r17). I like them year-round.

The Pirelli AS Plus 3 are by far the quietest tires I've had on this car, pretty much whisper quiet, however they seem to have inconsistencies with roundness which can cause small vibrations and they flat spot easily if they sit for any length of time. Other than that they wear well (currently have 40K miles on them and still have 5/32-6/32 left, and I don't drive like a granny lol) and have great traction in wet and dry. I have not encountered the wandering issue with them myself.

My son has these on his ES 350 and lives in Alcona, Innisfil. They do great on light to moderately heavy snow but a bit slippery on very heavy snow. No issues on the 400 highway between Alcona and Toronto for the most part and I don't know that anything is 100 percent foolproof in super heavy snow but they are doing fine for the daily driving after heavy dumps. I will be putting them on,but I will tell you that they are very much in demand and not easy to source,at least not from Costco

Kumho Majesty 9 Solus TA91. I get about 30k of spirited driving out of a set. They are fairly quiet, excellent wet and dry grip. Cold traction is good, no experience with snow.

I just put 4 17" Michelin Defender 2 on a couple weeks ago. Very happy with the smooth quite ride. Just what I was after, smooth and quite.
