I'm currently working on this car and switched the radio from fm to cd player, it displayed error 3 and after pulling and replacing the 3 fuses it spit out the cd but the radio shut off when I select AM or FM. I put another cd in and it does play but the radio refuses to respond to the am/fm buttons or the mode button on the steering wheel. It's not the Mark Levinson system just the base stereo.

Has anyone else had this problem?

These are so complicated. I gave up on mine only working part time. Wanting a backup camera and siriusxm helped speed up my decision. I love my Kenwood after market system. Mine and yours is a nightmare, I cant imagine what the Mark Levinson systems are like to figure out. I'm sure there is an answer to your question, I don't know what it is. My solution was tear it out and start over. If you dig deep enough here there is a lot of information. Good luck
